Panthers in Prescription Trouble

I read a story on ESPN about a doctor who pled guilty to conspiracy to provide a number of Carolina Panthers players with steroids. It says he prescribed the hormones to players who wanted to bulk up and it was found that the players filled the prescriptions multiple times at the same pharmacy. This doctor has also been implicated in the death of a woman who received an experimental intravenous treatment from him before her death.

Another article on the subject says Todd Steussie filled his prescription for testosterone cream eleven times in eight months. Testosterone is known to be a steroid and is banned by the NFL. I cant believe I missed this story when it came out. I hate to see our players mixed up in drug scandals. It’s a disgrace. Read the stories:
